Finally decided to try out Meowcafe after seeing so many reviews and so many people recommend them for KPOP collectors. I’ve been hesitant to get a binder as I currently live at home and there is not very much space, but my photocard collection for TWICE has just grown so big that I need a binder now to store them permanently.
I am SO impressed with the pink A5 extra wide 3-inch binder!!! I’ve only used 25 six pocket pages so far so it hasn’t even reach half of its max capacity, which is great for an ever expanding collection like mine haha. I love that it comes with the backboards to support the pages and prevent them from bending. Really lovely quality pages too, I am obsessed and I think I’m definitely gonna be using this site as my go-to for refills and binders for the future. My Dragon Shield Japanese Size sleeves were a bit of a tight fit and tricky to get in but once they’re in they’re very secure, and I bought a pack of Meowcafe 57x88mm sleeves and they fit the pockets a lot nicer (I got the 63x93mm pocket size). Very lovely and would absolutely recommend the binder
I was concerned about how flimsy the binder felt when I unpackaged it, and how the cover curved, to the point that I tried bending it backward to open it up a bit, then opened it and weighed down the front cover for a while. Neither made much difference. It came with two backboards which I placed at front and back of 36 of the 50 slim fit pages that also came with it, and I added an additional backboard in the center, but still, when closed the binder actively presses onto the outer edge of the pages, causing them to warp. The D-ring also doesn't affix the pages in place; it allows too much movement at their base so pages can bend at the inner edge as well and for some reason the bottom backboard bends at the base, too. I didn't realize just how bad it was until I glanced over at some binders I'd set aside while reorganizing and saw the difference between this one and the others (in the attached photo it's the pink one at the bottom). I considered maybe it wasn't full enough, even if that didn't make sense to me, just in case, so I filled all 50 pages it came with and still. Leaving my cards in this binder would have damaged them. Disappointed.
A great sturdy binder so I wont have to worry about my collection bending!
I like it and keep my photocards nice and clean.
